H.264! Arecont Vision's H.264 technology provides a broad range of video formats and resolutions for various applications. Our software engineers are on it. H.264 has been popular in Europe.

Video Analytics! Zones, alarms, directions, colors and searchable relevent data, We have it! Our software engineers have been working diligently to get our VA module complete. Its a simple add on component for our GlobalView 5.0 software.

Megapixel! We have been working with megapixel cameras now since 2005. We are still one of the only companies in the World doing complete megapixel projects. Our software and hardware are designed for the greater frame sizes that megapixel provides. Bandwidth is still a critical factor in performance even at the server. Most DVRs can only handle a maximum of 9 megapixel cameras. GlobalView 5.0 can handle quite a few more.

Fiber Optics! The use of 5 megapixel cameras is too much for a standard copper network and would give any network administrator nightmares. The bandwidth requirements are off the charts for a standard surveillance system. Short range Fiber Optic cabling is now a cost effective solution and provides adequate bandwidth for the megapixel cameras.

Mobile Surveillance! The CM100 is quickly becoming the standard for mobile surveillance DVRs. Versatile and compact with room for expansion. This small unit is the brain for all of our mobile and covert products.

Industrial Covert Camera! The C-Cam, C stands for City. This is a new product for city wide covert surveillance. C-Cam provides a full 270 degree panoramic megapixel view and video is stored locally for better performance and can be acquired remotely.
